Other Investigation & Procedures

The hospital performs various investigations, tests, and procedures, which differ between departments. The Cath Lab, used for interventional cardiology, utilizes X-ray imaging with high radiation doses. Ideally, it should be located near the ICCU. Audiometry tests assess hearing, balance, and inner ear function, requiring a dedicated room near ENT OPD with two rooms—one for the procedure and one for the technician. Neuro Lab spaces are provided in the OPD complex for neurological investigations. Hemodialysis requires a separate area with infrastructure like dialysis procedure room, dialyzer washroom, store, change rooms, and waiting area for patients and staff.
