Organic molecules consist of hydrocarbon frameworks and their function mainly depends on the presence of polar heteroatoms that are attached to the carbon atom. The diversity given to the organic molecules containing heteroatoms creates unique physical properties, which expands the organic chemical space into a range of research areas in academia and industry.
