Highly Regioselective and E/Z‑Selective Hydroalkylation of Alkyne via Photoredox-Mediated Ni/Ir Dual Catalysis

Trisubstituted enones are versatile materials for the synthesis of pharmaceutical agents and natural products. A wide range of strategies such as aldol reactions, olefination, cross-coupling, Heck reactions, C–H activation, and the addition of organometallic reagents have been developed to synthesize trisubstituted enones. Still, these methods are less efficient, considering atom and step economy.
