Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Assessment Process of Technical Education System-Analysis and Critical Review

The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected education, posing various challenges to the traditional teaching–learning process across the globe. Technical education system is one such area that is hugely affected by COVID-19 pandemic. It has to undergo far-reaching transformations and adjustments including the introduction of the online education. From that period, the technical students faced various new challenges to continue their online education. Our survey-based paper aimed to study the impact of different factors on the assessment process of technical education system during the pandemic situation in terms of the change in performance of the students before and during COVID-19. In our survey study, the analysis has been done by using various statistical approaches. The study using Chi-Square and Cramer’s V rule reveals association between the performance of participating students and various parameters reflected on their feedback.
