Processing of ADRs

This chapter delivers the overview of collection, processing, reporting, and validation of ADRs, triage of cases, listedness of cases, medical coding by using various medical dictionary such as medical dictionary for regulatory activities, standardized MedDRA queries, WHODrug Global, WHO adverse reactions terminology, herbal dictionary. Causality assessment and their types. The goal of this chapter is to provide a deeper understanding on how to collect, processing, and where consumer as well as medical professional to report the ADRs. The processing of ADRs is one of the important steps in PV which starts from collection to reporting of ADRs to Regulatory Authority.
