Although the SKWP had succeeded in arousing much controversy and violence to draw the attention of the South Korean military and police, the obvious and yet important problem was simply that the SKWP had just its enemies’ attention. It had failed to create anything disruptive or explosive enough to draw in North Korea’s logistical and technical support to turn the tables against the Rightists.
