Psychosocial Management of Dhat Syndrome
摘要
Dhat syndrome is a culturally bound syndrome primarily observed in South Asian countries, characterized by the belief in the excessive loss of semen through nocturnal emissions or urination. Individuals experiencing Dhat syndrome often present with various psychosocial distress, including anxiety, depression, and sexual dysfunction. While addressing the physiological aspects is important, it is equally crucial to focus on psychosocial management to improve the overall well-being of individuals suffering from Dhat syndrome. This chapter will explore the key components of psychosocial management and interventions that can aid in the treatment and recovery of individuals with Dhat syndrome.
