The architectural characteristics of a community change depending on their lifestyle, customs, climatic circumstances, social demands based on their beliefs, cultural components, immigrant communities’ influence, economic situations, and other factors. This entails examining the architectural elements and features of various communities that migrated to Fort Kochi over time, as well as determining how different communities’ cultures influenced their settlements, as well as how Kerala traditional architecture influenced their architectural built forms in Fort Kochi.
