The Forms of Traditional Chinese Aesthetic Spirit

Aesthetics is the philosophical inquiry into the nature and discipline of beautybeautydiscipline of beauty and aesthetic responsesaestheticsaesthetic responses. In this book, I argue that beauty is a “valuable sense of delight and the aesthetic object” in traditional Chinese aestheticsaestheticstraditional Chinese aesthetics. In ancient China, various schools of thought have expressed their understanding of “beauty,” which formed the foundation and basic forms of traditional Chinese aesthetics.
