SuperalloysSuper alloys are high-temperature materialsHigh temperature materials used for very high-temperature applications in the range of 1100 °C or more. Their important properties include high strength, good resistance to corrosion, better mechanical and thermal fatigue and better creep resistance at elevated temperatures. Superalloys find major applications in jet engines, gas turbines, rocket engines, tools and dies for hot working of metals, and in nuclear, chemical and petrochemical industries.
