Organizations at the National Level Dedicated to Combating Child Sexual Abuse

Child molestation is a non-bailable offense. Many national organizations are working against these cases. Some of them are RAHI, AARAMBH, and Enfold. Mainly, these organizations are working toward child awareness, parent mental improvement, and safety. They prevent child pornography activities, and seek punishments for the crime (child sexual abuse) according to the POCSO Act. The organization, RAHI, was the first one established to fight against child sexual abuse. All the national organizations join with police departments to punish offenders. Some of the above organizations also provide individual therapy for abused children. The National Crime Records Bureau presents a yearly crime report. Most of these organizations have medical departments which treat children’s psychological conditions.
