摘要

The act of coercing or tricking a child or young person into enduring sexual activities or intercourse is child sexual abuse. The child might not be aware of the wrongness of the abuse that is occurring. They could also be reluctant to tell anyone else. Online or offline, sexual assault can happen at any time. The chapter provides an explanation of how sexual abuse affects people. The main objective of the chapter is to briefly explain the problem and suggest ways to overcome or reduce the issue. A descriptive type of research is used for the study and both secondary and primary data have been gathered. The information was obtained from websites, conversations with parents, teachers, and a small number of children. This chapter also aids in identifying the issue and raises awareness of potential solutions for parents and educators. The chapter discusses sexual abuse types, warning signs, prevention strategies, and legal restrictions after analyzing its significance.
