Lyapunov-Based Controller for Bilinear Model Applied to Gas-Fired Furnace
摘要
Control design for nonlinear models is a challenging task for practical engineering. The almost commercial controller adopts a linear control approach for a nonlinear system, whilst the others achieve controllers in the frequency domain that requires an abundant experimental test for obtaining a transfer function. This paper proposes a model-based controller for a bilinear model applied to the gas-fired furnace in the time domain. The temperature output of the gas-fired furnace is driven by the proposed controller to track the desired temperature defined by ISO-834. The convergence of the tracking error is analyzed by Lyapunov stability. The control performance of the proposed controller in the temperature tracking control is validated through the simulation studies with various values of the control parameter.
