Revolutionizing Agriculture: The Application of Computer Vision and Drone Technology

The increase in population is placing a significant pressure on the agricultural sector to enhance crop production and maximize yields. To address these conditions, two approaches have emerged: one is expanding the land use, and the other is embracing innovative practices and leveraging technological advancements to enhance productivity on existing agriculture land. In this chapter, we discuss the use of artificial intelligence, drones, and automation processes in different fields of agriculture along with their advantages and limitations.
