This chapter revisits straightforward tradeoff-based approaches focusing on more intricate and rigorous multi-criteria optimization methods used in software engineering. Following the ITC framework, a case study approach is applied to the digital product development for the problem domain of crisis-resilient emergency management in smart cities.
