Enhancing Biometric Performance Through Mitigation of Sleep-Related Breaches

With advancements in technology, the risk of information security threats continues to grow. One potential solution to these challenges is the use of biometric techniques. Biometrics consists of biological measurements and physical characteristics that can be used to identify an individual. For example, fingerprint mapping, facial recognition, and retinal scans are all forms of biometrics. To enhance the security of the biometric techniques, we proposed to implement sleeping breaches. Sleeping breaches depend on many parameters such as body temperature, blood pressure, brain work, and heartbeats. Sleeping breaches improve security when the user is sleeping. The measurement of body temperature, blood pressure, brain work, and heartbeats vary from active state to the rest of the human body. The biometric is not accessible by the user in case any of the sleeping breach parameters as mentioned above, meet the test condition resulting into enhanced security.
