Eye Glasses for the Visually Challenged Using Artificial Intelligence Application

Vision often tends to be a hurdle due to accessibility of text-based information in readability and usability of printed text documents, recognizing objects and well-known persons. Organizations for the visually impaired respond to the significant needs by offering a variety of ways to access text, including voice-over speakers, finger readers, and more. One significant flaw with these technologies is that they manually capture paper-based printed text images, objects, and face-to-speech conversions. Capturing of image automatically becomes difficult to visually challenged people. In this study, printed texts, objects, and faces are captured using camera which inputs the application and in turn receives the audio output of the given text, object, and face. The generated speech signal is given to the user either through earphone or speaker which can be easily understood by the visually impaired person. To increase functionality of vision, the suggested eye glasses combine cutting-edge computer algorithms, machine learning approaches, and personalized adaptive technologies. This approach starts with accurate and thorough assessment of the user’s visual state and then they use artificial intelligence to assist them in their requirement. To provide real-time visual aid, the glasses’ AI algorithms evaluate their surroundings, detect and recognize objects, text, and faces, and transmit pertinent information to the wearer via an inconspicuous display system. This augmented reality feature improves the user's ability to explore and interact with the world on their own, bridging the gap between visual restrictions and environmental challenges. In order to provide real-time visual assistance, the AI algorithms in the glasses assess their surroundings, detect and recognize objects, text, and faces, and transmit relevant information to the wearer via an inconspicuous display system. This augmented reality feature improves the user's ability to explore and interact with the world on their own, bridging the gap between visual restrictions and environmental obstacles.
