摘要

The early identification of lung cancer is essential for increasing survival rates because itis a serious public health concern. CT scans, a common kind of screening for lung cancer, can be expensive and time-consuming. Deep learning algorithms (Gruetzemacher et al. in J Am Med Inform Assoc 25:1301–1310, 2018, [1]), on the other hand, have created new possibilities for the precise and effective early diagnosis of lung cancer. The goal of this study is to discuss the state-of-the-art methods for applying deep learning to identify lung cancer early, including the creation of deep learning models and the use of multiple imaging modalities (Kumar et al. in Comput Med Imaging Graph 87, 2021, [2]). We'll also talk about the benefits and drawbacks of deep learning for detecting lung cancer.
