Understanding of Health-Related Issues: Health Constraints Among Migrants?

This chapter moves on to study the migrants’ understanding and experience of health and health services access. The discussion mainly focuses on their different level of understanding on health and health maintenance, and attention has also been paid to the factors that affect the health understanding of migrants, including the conception of traditional culture, weak capability of accepting information, exclusion from some specific systems of society, the possibility of health and health care participation, exclusion from some social networks and obstructed channels of health maintenance, and exclusion through crowd psychology.
