摘要

Research has posited a correlation between adolescent depression and compromised outcomes in adulthood. Additionally, there exists a discernible heterogeneity in the patterns of depression during adolescence and young adulthood, with individuals persistently or chronically exposed to depression demonstrating an association with adverse social outcomes in adulthood, notably characterized by lower educational attainment. However, scant scholarly inquiries have delved into the nuanced relationship between depression trajectories and both adult educational achievements and the initiation of the first marital union. The provision of mental health services during adolescence and emerging adulthood emerges as a salient avenue for enhancing the preparedness of individuals for the challenges of adulthood.
