Estimation of the Volume Flow Rate at the Anode Side of Hydrogen Fuel Cells

Estimating the volume flow rate of hydrogen is one common problem in the engineering design and application of hydrogen fuel cells. In this paper, models for estimating the volume flow rate of hydrogen are established from the perspectives of the number of electrons transferred by electrochemical reaction and the energy conversion between chemical energy and electric energy, and the sensitivity analysis of the influencing factors is made. The results show that estimation models are reasonable and reliable. In the estimation process, the actual single voltage of the fuel cell needs to be accurately collected and controlled.
