Research Design Strategies in Medical Sciences and their Potential Specific Errors

There are different methods to achieve research objectives. Choosing the right method can reduce the possibility of errors in medical science research. All research has some degree of error and no research is error-free. The researcher must minimize possible errors by identifying them either in the study design or data analysis stage. Each of the study methods can have its errors. In this chapter, the types of common studies in medical science research are explained, and their specific potential errors are described.
