Islanding Detection and Prevention of Blackout of Distribution System Using Decision Tree Algorithm-Based Load Shedding

This discusses the issue of load shedding in grids, which is a crucial challenge faced by power system operators worldwide. Traditional load shedding methods are often inefficient, causing inconvenience to consumers and leading to financial losses for utilities. This paper proposes a novel load shedding approach for grids that uses control algorithms to dynamically manage electricity supply and demand. The proposed approach is expected to enhance grid reliability, improve power quality, and reduce energy wastage. The results indicate that the proposed approach outperforms the traditional approaches in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and reliability. This research contributes to the development of more effective load shedding strategies for grids, which can help to address the challenges of modern power systems and ensure a sustainable and reliable energy supply.
