Inflammation

Inflammation is a very common and important basic pathological process. It occurs to the body surface of the trauma infection and the most common diseases as well as frequently occurring disease of internal organs, such as furuncle, carbuncle, pneumonia, gastritis, hepatitis, and nephritis. The modern pathology and immunology research have shown that inflammation is not only an adaptive response to the body but also a protective process of the body including the immune system. It has the effect of reducing the damage to the body, preventing the damage factors from spreading in the body and repairing the damaged tissue. But under some circumstances , the effect of inflammatory response to the body also leads to a different degree of harm, such as severe allergic reaction caused by drugs and toxicant and fibrinous pericarditis caused by cardiac fibrous adhesion. Therefore, dialectical analysis of the two sides of inflammation is of great importance in understanding the nature of inflammation and guiding clinical practice.
