Parasitosis
摘要
Parasitosis refers to a disease resulting from parasitic infestation. Three necessary conditions for the prevalence of parasitosis are source of infection (person or animal infected by parasite), route of transmission (living environment that is suitable for parasite), route of infestation, and vulnerable group (individuals who are lack of immunity against parasitic infestation or individuals with low immunity). Therefore, the spread of parasitosis from humans to humans, animal to animal, or humans to animal will be not only affected by biological factors, but also natural factors and social factors. The prevalence of parasitosis is also featured by territoriality, distinct seasonality, parasitic zoonosis, and other natural focus.
