Immune response is an important process of “recognizing oneself and eliminating dissidents.” It refers to protection against infections by defending against outside pathogens. Immune deficiencies increase the body’s susceptibility to infections. However, abnormal immune reactions, including too little or too much immune activity, ultimately lead to tissue damage. This chapter briefly introduces some common types of immune diseases [1, 2].
