Power Quality Conditioner with Hybrid Ant Colony Optimization

Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC) is used to alleviate power quality problems such as voltage sag, swell, and voltage flicker. A combination of a digital video recorder and a static communication system is utilized in this case to minimize power quality issues. Many authors have contributed to the literature by proposing different mitigation techniques that have been incorporated into the literature. A fuzzy logic controller as well as hybrid ant colony optimization techniques are used in this paper in order to reduce the power quality issues. Compared to existing methods, the proposed system results show that it is superior to existing methods compared to the literature's evidence.
