According to the findings of a study on fertilizer use in dry farming areas, the fertilizer dosage should be minimal. There are various factors influencing fertilizer use efficiency, i.e., selection of cultivars or varieties; timely sowing; establishment of a sufficient crop stand; timing and technique of fertilizer delivery; practices for moisture conservation; and timely weed control.
