Extracellular Vesicle Engineering for Clinical Therapy
摘要
Engineering the extracellular vesicle (EV) membrane may be an interesting approach for endowing EVs with additional biological properties. In this chapter, we first discuss EV membrane modification strategies based on chemical, biological, physical, and combination engineering. We then briefly outline isolation and collection strategies for natural and engineered EVs from the perspectives of traditional and emerging technologies. Finally, we summarize the advantages and challenges of engineered EVs.
