Mirror: The Only Fundamental Symmetry in Crystals

In the present day crystallography, the translational symmetry is considered to be the most fundamental symmetry and all other symmetries such as reflection, rotation, inversion and their compatible combinations are supposed to comply with the translation for their validity.
