This paper aims to examine information leadership among public school educators in two secondary schools in Malaysia. The study sample included 172 students in a questionnaire. These data were analysed descriptively and inferentially using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 21. The findings show that overall levels of teaching leadership among Islamic education teachers (IETs) (mean = 4.28, s.d. = 0.51) and student achievement in Islamic subjects are high (mean = 4.10, s.d. = 0.47). Additionally, teaching leadership among teachers is significantly correlated (53%) to learning performance. The implications of this study show that the use of an appropriate leadership style is an important factor in determining the achievements of instructional process.
