Interaction Between Artificial Intelligence, 2D and 3D Open Source Software, and Additive Technologies for the Needs of Design Practice
摘要
Modern technological means are in a period of great development, both in terms of software and additive technologies. They are diverse in terms of functionality and technical parameters, which expands the possibilities of work and increases the efficiency of designers in their work. There is a transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0, where the interaction between the various systems is increasingly adequate and technically correct. This paper explores the possibilities of correlation between artificial intelligence (AI), 2D and 3D open source software, and additive technologies for the needs of design practice. Concrete processes for creating geometry examples from 2D tracing to 3D digital and real models are presented in detail, which have undergone stages of development from conventional computer design with open source software (OSS). The advantages of the SVG and STL file formats are presented, through which the interaction of different software and additive technologies is upgraded, which increases the quality of the final products in the design practice. The present study presents in detail a technological path covering the stages from the idea, the application of software and additive technologies to the realization of final 3D digital and physical models, thus the accumulated experience would be useful for a wide range of stakeholders.
