Information Systems Field: An Analysis Through a Bibliometric Methodology

Bibliometric methodologies are an important tool for analyzing academic fields’ evolution and status. This article analyzes the information system field through a bibliometric methodology from 2002 to 2022. For this purpose, it presents a methodology for analyzing publications in two different data sets. It was identified one set of core concepts in the Information field. The use of these concepts in scientific works in the period is also analyzed.
