Bibliometric Analysis of Green Manufacturing in Automobile Sector

Green manufacturing is recent development with an aim to reduce pollution and safeguard the environment. The aim of this chapter is to find out, how green concept in automotive Industries is developing. In this chapter, Scopus data are used for the bibliometric analysis. On searching the database, 244 articles are found using the keyword Green manufacturing and Automobile sector. Keyword and co-occurrence analysis are performed by VOSviewer software for the network visualization. It is found that from 2015 onward, the topic is gaining momentum. Keywords like; automotive industry, green manufacturing and sustainable development have the maximum occurrences, means industries are working on these concepts. Co-occurrence analysis shows that Indian authors are jointly working with other countries authors on green manufacturing. This is very positive trend, as India is developing hub of automobile manufacturing of the world.
