Bibliometric Study on the Heuristics Simulated Annealing

This work seeks to understand the evolution of publications on Simulated Annealing heuristics through a bibliometric study and its relationship with other heuristics and methods for solving optimization problems. For this, we analyzed about 1390 metadata extracted from the Web of Science and Scopus databases, published between 1985 and December 2021, when the metadata was extracted. The results demonstrate the exponential growth of publications in the last six years, make it possible to understand the patterns of interaction with other heuristics, and may contribute to future research.
