Practical Approach of the CRITIC–CoCoSo Hybrid Method for Selection of a Pesticide Spray Drone in Various Crops
摘要
The objective of this article is to present a practical approach that combines the criteria importance through intercriteria correlation (CRITIC) and combined compromise solution (CoCoSo) methods for selecting an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) sprayer. The alternatives and criteria were determined through structured interviews with engineers and consultations with suppliers and representatives of agricultural drones. Spreadsheets were used for mathematical modeling to assist with data tabulation. The weights of the criteria were generated using the CRITIC method, which identified “total cost” as the most relevant criterion. The ordering of alternatives was performed using the CoCoSo method, which used the weights generated by the CRITIC method as criteria weights in its decision matrix. The combination of both methods resulted in the DJI Agras T30 UAV being identified as the best alternative.
