Theoretical Performance Analysis of RIS-Enabled ISAC

In this chapter, we present the theoretical framework for performance evaluation of RIS-enabled NO-ISAC systems. Section 2.1 provides the introduction. Section 2.2 introduces the system model. Section 2.3 presents the theoretical framework for performance evaluation, while Sect. 2.4 provides the beamforming design based on the proposed performance metric. Numerical results and discussion on the performance of the RIS-enabled NO-ISAC system are provided in Sect. 2.4. Finally, Sect. 2.6 summarizes this chapter.
