Crack Angle Effect on Creep Fracture

In brittle rock, inclination of microcracks greatly influences its mechanical behavior. Due to the complex distribution of numerous initial microcracks in brittle rocks, effects of microcrack inclination on strength and failure of brittle rock hardly is investigated directly.
