Probes

This chapter emphasizes the need for probes in electrical measurements. A ‘probe’ is used to minimize the measurement system’s interference with the measurement object (observing without interfering). Passive probes are introduced in Sect. 6.2, active probes in Sect. 6.3, and current probes in Sect. 6.4.
