State-of-the-Art and Development of 6G Communications
摘要
As fifth-generation (5G) research reaches its peak maturity and moves closer to becoming a global standard, the study has started to focus on speeding up the advancement of beyond-5G (B5G) technologies toward the 6G age of 2030. Future predictions predict that the current world will become increasingly digital, completely networked, and data-driven. Beyond what has been seen currently in wireless-enabled applications, mobile communication technologies are projected to progress, improving daily life’s comfort and safety as well as commercial efficiency. This paper describes the main drivers pushing toward 6G along with the most current technology allowing 6G, as well as the specifications of the following generation. Additionally, the intended technology outlines how the ideas are becoming a reality. Moreover, the Fontan land mobile satellite channel is analyzed and the symbol error rate for the same is simulated considering the free space path loss and atmospheric losses. Finally, several suggestions are made for further study on the existing difficulties that confront wireless communication networks.
