Applications of Consortium Blockchain in Power Grid Security: A Systematic Review

With the development of the power industry, the security of the power grid has become a top priority. In recent years, blockchain technology has been proposed as a solution to the security problems of power grids. Specifically, the use of consortium blockchain technology can help solve issues in the power grid. In this paper, we first introduce consortium blockchain technology and then analyzes the security problems faced by power grids. Furthermore, we propose four possible applications of consortium blockchain technology in the power grid sector to address those security issues. Finally, we discuss the advantages and challenges of using consortium blockchain technology in the power grid sector.
