VPBFT: Improved PBFT Consensus Algorithm Based on VRF and PageRank Algorithm

摘要

The PBFT consensus algorithm is widely used in the blockchain consensus, but its algorithm complexity is high and there are performance limitations. At present, the research on the supervision of the production and manufacturing process of power transmission and distribution equipment using blockchain technology lacks detailed system architecture design and function realization. This paper proposes an improved PBFT consensus algorithm VPBFT based on verifiable random function and weighted PageRank algorithm, which has better performance than PBFT. Then we implemented a power transmission and distribution consortium blockchain supervision platform and applied VPBFT to it.
