Research on Dynamic Stiffness Measurement of Flexible Pipe Based on Indirect Method

Based on indirect method, a measurement device is proposed for obtaining the dynamic stiffness of flexible pipe in working station. Compared with the common impedance platform, this device uses the acceleration of the blocking mass to obtain the blocking force, which reduces the influence brought by the experimental platform and can obtain a higher frequency range. The key points of design and measurement process are analyzed and demonstrated in depth by establishing the dynamic model of the device, which leads to a scientific dynamic stiffness measurement method of flexible pipe. According to the field test and amending, the results obtained by this measuring device have good performance in the range of 10–1000 Hz, which meets the engineering requirements, and can be applied to the dynamic stiffness measurement of balanced and non-balanced flexible pipe.
