Research on Radio Frequency Energy Characteristics of Explosive Explosion

Explosive explosion is a complex process of sound, light, heat, electromagnetism and other multi-physics coupling, the current mechanism and theory of explosion to generate radio frequency (RF) energy is not mature, further research is needed, experimental research is still the main research means of explosion RF energy. In this paper, a set of RF energy measurement device based on standard loop antenna is designed, and the RF at the same distance and different angle measurement points during the explosion of 1.9 kg typical explosives (TNT, JH-14, JO8, JHLD, JHOL) is measured synchronously, and the RF signal is processed by wavelet analysis method to obtain the time domain and frequency domain characteristics of the RF signal. The experiment results show that the RF signal appears at about 90 μs of the explosive explosion, the RF signal frequency is within 1 MHz, and the RF signal frequency is different in each direction, indicating that the RF energy of the explosive explosion is non-uniformly distributed, which provides experimental support for the subsequent research on the theoretical mechanism of related explosion RF theory.
