Research on Launch Recoil Characteristics of Aluminum Honeycomb Buffer Under Pyrotechnic Device

摘要

A novel launch buffer structure utilizing an aluminum honeycomb was designed to mitigate the impact on the satellite platform during the launch of the pyrotechnic device. Initially, the internal ballistic model of the pyrotechnic device was constructed using closed-bomb tests on gunpowder. Subsequently, quasi-static experiments were conducted on the aluminum honeycomb buffer to investigate its mechanical characteristics. Finally, the rigid-body dynamic launch model established in Adams was validated through launch experiments, and the recoil performance of the launcher with the aluminum honeycomb buffer was analyzed. The results indicate that aluminum honeycomb buffers possess excellent energy absorption capabilities, which can reduce the launch recoil force and impact acceleration caused by the pyrotechnic device while minimally affecting the launch velocity.
