Estimation of a Tank’s Noise Source Level by Utilizing Noise Attenuation Algorithm Inversion

This article presents a method for estimating the noise level of a tank’s noise source, by utilizing the noise attenuation algorithm inversion. The method incorporates the physical characteristics of noise propagation and calculates the noise level of the noise source by analyzing sensor signals. A noise attenuation model was developed to study the noise reduction characteristics during the propagation from the tank’s noise source. From the inversion model, the sound pressure level of the tank was obtained at different distances, and the noise level of the source was estimated. The noise level was correctly estimated, comparing with the analogous results. It shows that this method can effectively estimate the noise level of noise sources with satisfactory accuracy and stability. This method has a wide range of applications in intelligence research, environmental noise monitoring, and noise control. In summary, this method provides an effective approach for estimating the noise level of a noise source and has a high research value for future research.
