Research on Dynamic Responses of Composite Laminates for Impact Load Identification
摘要
The unknown impact loads acting on composite laminates are crucial for structural health monitoring (SHM). This paper presents impact force results that consider the structural invisible damage caused by low-velocity impact loads. The impact force results are compared with the most popular reconstruction methods that do not consider structural damage, including delamination and matrix damage. Based on criteria provided by impact test data, a finite element model of the composite laminates is established using ABAQUS/Explicit to validate the correctness and effectiveness. By comparing the calculated impact forces using the two methods mentioned above, the results indicate that considering the damage to the composite laminates is necessary for force identification in composite material structures.
