Gust Load Alleviation on a Flying Wing Aircraft Based on Equivalent Input Disturbance Method

摘要

This paper uses a new active disturbance rejection control technology, namely, the equivalent input disturbance (EID) method to reduce the aeroelastic responses and internal loads induced by gusts. The EID method is a new disturbance rejection control method that estimates the EID from the control channel instead of the actual disturbance. Due to the obtained disturbance estimation, a good disturbance rejection performance of the closed-loop system can be achieved. The EID method is then applied to a flying wing aircraft with four control surfaces. It is demonstrated that the EID method can achieve very good disturbance estimation performance. This study provides an effective solution for gust alleviation of the aeroelastic system with multiple control surfaces.
