摘要

Cotton fiber is a natural material composed of cellulose that exhibits excellent water absorption properties. Centrifugal dewatering is typically required during the processing of cotton fibers. However, the water absorbed by the fibers can affect the dewatering process, leading to reduced efficiency and lower quality. To investigate the effects of factors such as fiber water absorption and centrifugal speed on the dewatering process, a numerical model based on the conservation of liquid inside and outside the fiber was developed in this study. The findings provide valuable insights into the dewatering process of cotton fiber-like materials and serve as an important theoretical foundation for future research in this area.
