An Assessment Method of Launch Safety of Propellant Charge Based on Information Measure Equivalency
摘要
In order to address the issue of excessively large sample sizes required by classical statistical methods for evaluating the launch safety of propellant charges in artillery, a novel approach for quantitative evaluation of launch safety based on the dynamic activity ratio of initial launch was proposed. This approach utilizes an information-equivalent methodology, whereby a small number of experiments under rigorous conditions can provide safety information equivalent to that obtained by classical methods using large sample sizes. By implementing this approach, the launch safety of propellant charges can be accurately determined using a much smaller number of samples. To validate the proposed method, evaluations were performed on the launch safety of propellant charges utilized in typical large-caliber artillery. The results demonstrated a significant reduction in the required sample size, thereby confirming the correctness and feasibility of this approach.
